The term Soft Computing was proposed by Prof. L.A. Zadeh in 1990. Unlike conventional computing Scheme, Soft Computing allows tolerance of imprecision, uncertainty and partial truth for input, process and output with these tolerances. Soft Computing is hoped to produce intelligent, robust, tractable and low solution Cost Systems. Soft Computing has importance in solving problems in industry and business that require an intelligent analysis and information technologies.
On the auspicious occasion of its 60th Anniversary the Institute is organizing an International Conference on Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems ICSCIS-07.ICSCIS-07 is a confluence which will bring together technocrats, engineers, researchers and academicians to foster the exchange of concepts, prototypes, research ideas and the results of research work on soft computing and intelligent systems.Conference includes keynotes address / invited lectures, panel/ plenary sessions, regular oral paper sessions and industrial presentation.
