Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur is the premier institute for Engineering and Technology and Applied Science Education of Our country. Established on July 7th, 1947 the institute celebrated its diamond jubilee in 2006-07. Presently institute offers B.E. Degree course in 7 disciplines, 9 Post Graduate courses in various Engineering fields and 3 PG courses in Applied Science and MCA. To keep in consonance with the fast emerging technology, Jabalpur engineering college is taking a lot of initiatives by revitalizing its courses and taking many projects in thrust area of Engineering and technology. The college spreads over an area of 255 acres and is about 5 kms away from Jabalpur railway station.
About the City:
Jabalpur city is situated in the heart of M.P. It stands majestically on the Tropic of Cancer and on the banks of the river Narmada which flows through the white marble rock cluster – Bhedaghat site known for its munificence beauty in the world. The famous Kanha national park and Bandhavgarh white tiger reserve are near to Jabalpur city. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. Kanhas flora and fauna has given Kanha its deserved reputation for being one of the finest and best administered National Parks in Asia.
